With increasing pressures in hospitals and the need to improve access to health and social care within the community, there is a drive to care for people in their own homes as much as possible. This book hopes to introduce the topic of health and social care to children, encourage them to reach their potential and spark interest into its rewarding career prospects.

Writing a book - many of our books have been created by community groups and schools who have wanted to get a message across to the wider public. Children and adults will find a way into illustrating, publishing and graphic design as well as gaining knowledge of how good stories work.
If you are interested in writing a book with us there are a number of ways to do it, from putting together a professional children’s picture book right through to creating a version that will be bilingual and animated with teachers notes linked to the curriculum.
